I think that quote already captures much of what this book is trying to say.

It’s easy to stand outside the arena and point out what someone could have done better.

It’s much harder to actually step inside, take the risk, expose yourself to failure, criticism, embarrassment, and uncertainty, and still choose to show up.

That’s probably what I liked most about Daring Greatly.

Vulnerability isn’t necessarily weakness.

Sometimes it’s simply the price of trying something that actually matters.

You might fail.

You might look stupid.

You might get criticized by people who never even tried.

But at least you were there.

In the arena.

As for the reading challenge, I’ve been caught up with a lot during the past two months. I still managed to squeeze in some audiobooks here and there, though with much less time than before.

Still a long way to go.

But I’ll keep trying to reach that 100th mark before December.
