Libro: Ready Player One
Ready Player One, by Ernest Cline
Book 4 of 100
Best way to describe this one: NOSTALGIC.

Honestly, some parts of the story feels a little flat. You could probably squeeze it into one episode of a sci-fi series.
But what takes it to another level is everything wrapped around it.
The references to old-school RPGs, arcade games, music, movies, geek culture, and the early days of gaming give the whole thing a certain charm.
It feels like a giant love letter to a generation that grew up escaping into fictional worlds long before virtual reality became something we could actually imagine using every day.
That’s probably what made this one fun for me.
And yeah, I’ll definitely be watching the film adaptation too. There's already a queue of books and movies waiting, so we'll see when that happens.
But there’s also one thought that stuck with me after finishing it.
Aren’t we slowly moving toward something similar ourselves?
More and more of our lives now happen through screens.
Work. Entertainment. Friendships. Games.
Entire communities.
We build these digital spaces where we can be whoever we want to be, while the real world continues running somewhere in the background.
Maybe we’re not living inside the OASIS yet.
But sometimes it does feel like we’re already practicing for it.
I guess that’s one thought worth pondering.
