Last read for 2019.

I actually finished this during the final week of December, after what felt like almost three months of on-and-off reading before finally reaching the last chapter.

It’s a long read, but I guess that fits the subject.

Trying to understand people, their motives, their insecurities, their habits, and the way they react to the world isn’t exactly something you can summarize in a few pages.

And maybe one of the harder parts is realizing that a lot of those observations also apply to yourself.

It’s easy to analyze other people.

It’s much harder to notice your own patterns, admit when you’re wrong, and recognize the things you keep doing without really knowing why.

I didn’t reach my reading target for the year, but that’s alright.

There’s always another year to try again.

So, closing the books on last year and opening a few new chapters for this one.
