Libro: The Obstacle Is the Way
The Obstacle Is the Way, by Ryan Holiday

Key takeaways:
- How you do anything is how you do everything.
- The impediment to action advances action.
- What stands in the way becomes the way.
It’s been about two years since I last picked up something non-technical, so this was a nice change of pace.
What I liked most is how simple the central idea is.
You don’t always get to remove the obstacle.
Sometimes you have to work with it.
A setback can force you to slow down, rethink your approach, or find a route you probably wouldn’t have considered if everything had gone smoothly.
That doesn’t mean every problem is secretly a blessing.
Sometimes a problem is just a problem.
But your response to it still matters.
You can spend all your energy wishing the situation were different, or you can start asking what can actually be done with what’s in front of you.
And maybe that’s where progress starts.
Anyway, good to be reading outside the technical stuff again.
Now, onto the next!
